Generate Gerber and Drill files from Multisim/Ultiboard

The process for generating all the necessary manufacturing files is very simple in Ultiboard, and different to most other design software. You can use an Export Scheme file to export them for you. These files are pre-configured by Logic Need to ensure that all the necessary files will be exported from your design, in the correct format, to place an order at Logic Need PCB Service.

1-	Download our pre-configured Export Scheme file To download our pre-configured Ultiboard Export Scheme file Click here File Version: U5 File Name:  LogicNeed_Ultiboard_GerberRS274X_ExportScheme_Ver_U5.uxcfg File Description: This Export Scheme file suitable for Ultiboard Program and tested on Ultiboard  Ver 14.1
2-	Open your PCB Design file on Ultiboard software, check integrity of the files. Here we used the file name "MyPCB" as an example file.  Select the menu "File", then left-click "Export". NOTE: If the Export button is grayed out and not active, then check if you have activated Ultiboard, because the Export is not available in the trial/demo period.
3-	In the Export dialog window, open the Scheme dropdown menu and select "Browse..." as shown here:
4-	When the open dialog appears  locate the file that you downloaded (in step 1) and click "open" button. Please make sure you are using the Logic Need Export Scheme file.
5-	Then our Export Scheme file is loaded.  Please dont change any settings in the Export dialog after loading our Export Scheme file ,  click the "Export" button.
6-	Then the Export operation will start exporting process.
7-	The manufacturing files will be exported by default in a folder with a name "Ultiboard Exports" in the same board file location in your file system.
8-	Place ALL the exported files in this folder into an archive file (ZIP or RAR).
9-	Upload this archive file (ZIP or RAR) into the Logic Need PCB Service order page. Now, you are done. (We recommend that you give the files a quick check using any Gerber viewer software or online Gerber Viewer before confirming the order)
